Inspiration 4 Ability will take place on Thursday and Friday 2nd - 3rd August 2012. The event will start at 11am, finishing at 4pm. You can expect a full two days of fantastic entertainment with speakers, performers, ground-breaking innovations and services that inspire thousands of people world-wide each year
Inspiration 4 Ability in association with Able Magazine is a national event showcasing the best in innovation and inspiration for disabled people. This groundbreaking event lifts the lid on the possibilities open to people living with disability.
There are many shows and exhibitions that focus on helping people with disabilities with day-to-day living but our event is simply about promoting full and active living. Everything we present will focus on inspiration. All of our guest speakers are heroes, like Katie Piper and Simon Weston.
We are very excited to present Katie Piper who featured on Channel 4 Documentaries, My Beautiful Face and My Beautiful Friends. Katie will share her remarkable journey from being a model and budding TV presenter through to rebuilding her life after suffering a brutal acid attack in March 2008.
Now Katie is in even more demand since turning her life around and inspiring so many others to do the same. She is a truly amazing young woman!
Katie will be a key note speaker at Inspiration 4 Ability on Friday 3rd August - a full timetable will be available very soon. Katie will be signing copies of her latest book in the main exhibition hall after her key note speech.
We are thrilled that Simon Weston OBE will also be joining us as a key note speaker. Simon's speech is scheduled for the 2nd August 2012 (a full timetable will be available soon). Simon's message is one of single-minded determination, to not only accept what is, but to turn that to your advantage. Simon's own career clearly demonstrates how a positive mental attitude can achieve great business goals.
